The Hub introduces yoga workshops to restore calm and increase wellness for 2021!  Saturday classes.

June 19: The Three Gunas Workshop

The ancient teachings of yoga talk about three essential aspects of nature. These are called the Gunas. All of universal nature (Prakriti) is made up of these three qualities called: Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. These three states of being are constantly in flux and interacting with one another. If we don’t know that is happening, we can get very stuck in or attached to each different state. We learn in the workshop to appreciate the process of life as it unfolds and to observe and be present with this interaction.

WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
~ Discussion of the three Gunas, and how they affect our daily life.
~ Guided practice into the Path of Stability described by B.K.S. Iyengar.
~ Yoga Asana Sequence to move into increased balance and stability.
~ 30 minute Yoga Nidra Practice to guide you to deeper understanding of the Gunas.

Cost

$20* per person, each class. 
* Japa Mala Workshop is $40 per person. 

Registration Information

Register through webtrac. Bring a mat, a water bottle, and a face covering to enter facility. Once on the mat, the face covering may be removed.
