The Deployment Assistance Program provides all mobilizing, activating, and deploying Service members and family members with services and support during all phases of deployment. The program provides information regarding these topics, either directly or by referral, as appropriate to the needs and the phase of deployment:
- Changes in roles and responsibilities during deployment.
- Communication maintenance issues and technology for staying in touch.
- Stress and anger management strategies; coping strategies.
- Suicide prevention and behavioral health screenings, intervention, and treatment.
